Jim McNally has 30 years experience in the Southern Alberta market producing, directing and photographing local commercials, marketing videos and programs. Prior to opening The Commercial Factory in 1999, he worked in all facets of the production department for CISA Television (now Global Lethbridge), was the Operations Manager for five years and was the Station Manager when he left to start his own business.
He has received numerous industry awards from the Television Retail Bureau for his commercials and from Can Pro for his program productions. Some of Jim's awards for local businesses include TVB awards for Bankok~Taste of Asia, the Lethbridge Soup Kitchen and the Lethbridge Hurricanes and he provided footage on Dancing Bodies which received an Alberta Motion Picture Award for best educational program. He was also recognized for Ski West, which was awarded the best syndicated sports program in Canada.
He has international productions to his credit including the following documentaries: Barbados, Passport to the Soviet Union, South Africa: Out of the Darkness and Children of Chernobyl which was a finalist for the Canadian Association of Broadcasters Gold Ribbon Award.
Jim is also an award winning photographer and is the official action photographer for the Lethbridge Hurricanes and the Lethbridge Lacrosse Association.
