Immerse yourself in great Selling Lines. Blow them up. Frame them. Hang them in your office/bedroom/washroom - wherever you do your best thinking.
Analyze why they seem great to you. Make sure you understand what makes them work.
Selling lines are spoken language. Rather than trying to design one with pen and paper, get friends and colleagues and/or consumers togethern in a congenial setting, with a tape recorder and whatever you need to stimulate lateral thinking. Talk, discuss, argue, explore, invent, experiment. Keep talking. Then play back the tape and select what sounds promising. Listen to the language.
